One Little Word

Hello, I wanted to share some projects I have been working on for my One Little Word class.
Firstly, I made a vision board which sits on my desk to remind me of my word and what I am trying to achieve this year.

I decided to try and make thicker as I didn't have the ones I wanted. So I used my Sizzix Eclips to cut out the word assurance three times out of cs. I then modpodged them together and left them to dry. I am so pleased with them, it is time consuming and I don't always like a big title but for special projects and layouts I love it.
I couldn't find a cheap craft mat so I use an old toastie bag   I am so high-tech.

For another project I used the cs that the letters had been cut out from and spread texture paste through them onto 9 pre-cut 3x4 cards.

I then spritzed and inked and generally made a mess.
And then added my journaling.
It's a music prompt this month, I am looking forward to doing that one.
Thanks for looking

  3. I love your board :D The alphas are a great idea - you can do it with fun foam too but you'd only need 2 layers probably.

  5. I love your word board, its fabulous - what a lovely idea. I like your thickers too but not sure that me and three layers of anything modge podged would EVER dry, and i can already imagine the mess. How odd that you used turquoise spray Jen.

    1. Hehehe, yes I am sure it would eventually dry! I did have to dig deep to find that turquoise.

  6. Very neat tip about the toasting bag - I'd never have thought of that, Jen! Your vision board is full of colour and life, and I admire how you put together the letters with such steadfast energy!
