Hello
A few things that have caught my eye.
This blogger Ruth is walking the whole of the UK coast, impressive and inspiring. This was her take on 'my' walk by my town.
I love this glue, it is the same strength as glossy accents but less drama with having to keep pins in it etc
This quote sums up what happened today, I think I spent so long tidying my store today as it was so busy that it rubbed off. I went into another of our stores and as I was taking products off the shelf to buy I was tidying behind me.
I did enjoy this film. It was in the special cosy cinema I talked about here, unfortunately there was a young girl on that evening as usher and rather than thinking that she had only sold 10 seats and we could sit as we chose, she seated us on order of sales so all 10 of us had to sit together with a mainly empty auditorium. The lovely elderly couple I sat next to were endearing me with their continued gasps and admonishments to the cast and then very loud whispered talks about which of Bathsheba's suitors were which

That's funny that you all had to sit together! That walk round the UK sounds fab. xx
ReplyDeleteIt does, thanks Linds :-)
DeleteWell done to Ruth - quite an awesome feat :o
ReplyDeleteI haven't used that glue for years - I'm a Cosmic shimmer type of girl but perhaps I ought to try this again.
Love that you all sat together in the cinema :)
I think when you find a glue you love, it is love, I fell out with them a bit when they changed the lid which you could stand it up in. But I haven't found anything better, so I went back to it and I am happy I did.
DeleteLove your blog posts, Jen.
ReplyDeleteSue x
Thanks Sue :-) x
DeleteOoh, thanks for the glue recommendation: I'm tired fighting with Glossy Accents!
ReplyDeleteLet me know if you do have a go!
DeleteLovely post - Glad yoiu enjoyed the film ( all huddled together) .
ReplyDeleteThanks Sue!
DeleteOh Jen I do love your blog posts... enjoyed the links too - I am afraid of cows (in any of their forms) so the blogger struck a chord with me. Do you think the glue will work even here in France (even in my hands) I mean is it quick drying?
ReplyDeleteThank you Maria, that has made me happy :-)
DeleteI do think it will work in France, even in your hands and yes, paper to paper is 5 seconds :-) x
I really enjoy reading your posts - and am book marking that glue recommendation. I currently use a scotch photo glue but it isn't stocked any more at the shop I bought it at. We are currently holidaying at Braunton - having 'discovered' the area 6 years ago (that time we actually stayed at Lee Bay). We will be off to Croyde for the bodyboarding (well that's what the rest of the family do - I'm not a great water lover so will be reading and taking LOTS of photos!)
ReplyDeleteThat's a great glue recommendation - funny how hard it is to find one that does the job perfectly! I saw Far from the Madding Crowd this week too, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Hoping you are enjoying the extra day off work ...
ReplyDeleteFar from the Madding Crowd, I loved this film too! I've been using Scotch 3M glue for a few years now as I got fed up with things falling off older pages, and I still haven't found anything I like better.
